JOYST Youth Exchange International is a non-governmental organization established to promote cultural exchange and work abroad programmes designed to encourage student growth through experiences of other cultures and lifestyles during their summer holidays.

Our long pioneering legacy in youth tourism testifies to our commitment in promoting youth development at the global level.

The operators of the organization has over 19 years of experience, working with various sponsors over the years and therefore has the ability of delivering expert knowledge in the field of work and travel and other related areas of cultural exchanges.

Work & Travel USA

The Work and Travel USA programme offers diversity in culture and a way of life you won’t experience here in Jamaica, Barbados or anywhere else in the Caribbean region, so why limit yourself and your possibilities?

This programme offers you an unlimited experience which will lead to a wider understanding of people and societies. While providing experience and knowledge, the programme is complimented with an opportunity for your financial upliftment.

Work and Travel USA offers participants a unique opportunity to work and travel for up to four (4) months during their summer holidays beginning May 4 through to September 7th of each programme year. The programme is offered to full time students in their first to final year of studies.

The programme allows you the flexibility to find your own employment and housing.

  • KAMP (Kitchen and Maintenance Programme) - for Full time university/college students  
  • Internship USA
  • Work In Australia

Must be a full time student at a tertiary institution.
Must be between 18-30 years of age
​Must be doing a degree course not less than 2 years
