Internship to Europe

International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience (IAESTE) IAESTE is a non political, independent, non governmental association that was founded in 1948, dedicated to promoting the international understanding and co-operation. IAESTE operates in over 80 countries worldwide and our mission is to provide high quality practical exchange programme between members in order to enhance technical and professional development amongst students, academic institutions, employers and the wider community.

The Aims of IAESTE

• To provide students in higher education with technical experience relevant to their studies
• To offer employers well qualified and motivated trainees
• To be a source of cultural enrichment for trainees and their host communities.

The programme is fulfilled through a reciprocal exchange of students training in foreign enterprises and organisations. The training is for paid on the job during the summer vacation for a period of 6-12 weeks.  Special arrangements can be made to facilitate longer training periods of up to 12 months.

  • To operate a high quality practical training exchange program between members in order to enhance technical and professional development and to promote international understanding and goodwill amongst students, academic institutions, employers and the wider community.
  • IAESTE operates irrespective of race, color, sex or creed.

Eligibility

• Must be a full time student pursuing a BSc or a Masters Degree course
• First year students are not eligible
• Pursuing studies in any of these areas: Engineering & Technology, Applied Arts, Science, Agriculture, Commerce, Economics, Hotel & Management, and languages.

Requirements

• Complete registration form
• Letter of introduction to the employer
• A recent resume
• A reference from your Lecturer
• A school status letter
• List of areas studied in your major (from 1st year to present)
• 2 Photos (additional photos may be requested)
